Emma Bengtsson, the most recent recipient of the Mentor Chef Award from the organization, is the first Swedish female chef to receive two Michelin stars. Bengtsson, who was born in Sweden, has developed a fondness for the cuisine that her grandmother prepared. She derives great joy from imparting this knowledge to the customers who frequent her restaurant, Aquavit,which is situated in Manhattan.
